Vincent Peal shows us his impressive series of photographs from his many travels around the globe. The theme of this exhibition lies in the staggered manner people evolve in the street, living their urbanity. Sometimes his snapshot gaze catches situations that would lead us to smile, sometimes it reflects, through the crudeness of reality, the trashiness in the existences of the people he shots. Whether in Brussels, Europe or the rest of the world, his photographs make us share an otherness in relation to our standardized habits; either by addressing the theme of marginality, atypical environments or the strangeness of other cultures.
