‘Origin’, is the result of the work of two Spanish artists, Bleda and Rosa, who were awarded the National Price of Photography by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. This exhibition presented at the Coudenberg, follows the discovery of the archaeological remains of the Former Palace of Brussels and offers a physical trip into the different theories about human evolution, a photographical walk in landscapes and places where, at some moment, the First man appeared: the Sierra of Atapuerca and the Cave of Aragó. This project aims to achieve better knowledge and dialogue between scientific fields, such as paleo-anthropology and archaeology, interacting with philosophy and the history of civilization, with the help of artistic images of landscapes.
