In the exhibition citybooks, the Flemish-Dutch House deBuren and De Markten invite you on a European city trip. From the heart of Brussels we reach beyond borders and show you city portraits from cities like Bucharest, Charleroi, Graz, Lublin, Ostend, Sheffield, Skopje, Tbilisi, and Utrecht. The exhibition includes work from photographers Christian Binder, David Bocking, Filip Berte, Sander Buyck, Lisa Van Damme, Martijn van de Griendt, Kakha Kakhiani, Maciej Rukasz, Frosina Stojkovska, and Lea Titz. A citybooks photography exhibition would not be complete without adding a dash of literature. To this end, deBuren will organize a series of literary events including Arnon Grunberg, Mauro Pawlowski (dEUS), en Maud Vanhauwaerte.
